May is Mental Health Month, to bring awareness for our community the United Way of North Central Oklahoma & the Community Health Foundation of Kay County will be hosting a Mental Health & Wellness Event on Thursday May 16th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. We invite you and your family to join us for activities including games, face painting, jump tents, entertainment, door prizes, and health fair booths; all provided to the public free.
Our goal is to help break the stigmas that surround those who suffer from mental health issues and show them there is help. We believe that individuals who suffer from serious mental illnesses can and do get better and recover, and with your continued support, our community can see us reach this goal. UWNCO is a non-profit organization and all cash and in-kind donations are tax deductible. In-kind donations, like gift certificates, are given away as door prizes and cash helps purchase the many supplies and prize items needed for the event; so your tax deductable monetary or in-kind sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
